Former Why Don't We singer Jack Avery is fighting ex Gabby Gonzalez's latest request to see their 7-year-old daughter.

Avery is opposing her request for visitation and video calls.

Gonzalez is facing a conspiracy to commit murder charge over an alleged plot to have Avery killed.

a bitter custody dispute, an alleged murder-for-hire plot on the dark web, and eventually an undercover law enforcement officer posing as a hitman.

At the center of it are 25-year-old Gabriela Gabby Gonzalez and Jack Avery.

So Avery rose to fame as a member of the boy band called Why Don't We? And he and Gabby had a daughter together.

Their daughter is now seven years old.

But after their relationship ended, the two became involved in what prosecutors describe as a contentious custody dispute.

And according to prosecutors, between 2020 and 2021, that custody battle allegedly escalated into something much more sinister.

They say that Gabby began talking about wanting Jack Avery dead.

Now, court documents allege that during the custody proceedings, Gabby was portraying Avery as unfit and dangerous as a father.

So Cody knew that Gabby was a little hung up on her ex, a famous boy bander named Jack Avery.

Not in a romantic way anymore.

Love had definitely turned to hate in that relationship.

You just think they'd be slightly smarter.

You would think, yeah.

Meanwhile, poor Jack Avery is just trying to live his life, not realizing that his baby's mother and grandfather are actively plotting his murder.

A social media influencer accused in a murder for hire plot is expected in court for arraignment.

TikTok influencer Gabriela Gonzalez, her father Francisco Gonzalez, and her ex-boyfriend Kai Cordray are accused of planning the attack against singer Jack Avery.

Prosecutors say Avery, the father of Gonzalez's child, was targeted amid a bitter custody dispute.

Investigators say the plot unraveled when one of the suspects discussed the alleged plan with a federal agent posing as a hitman.
