Jack Appleyard

Luckily, the sprint took place in dry conditions, and what a sprint it was.

Some great work with a friend and colleague, Jack Appleyard, again on the Paddock Note Show, Neil.

And then we came to Sunday, and again, the forecast rainfall just relentless, absolutely relentless, battered the whole facility, not just the track.

caused low visibility, which prevented the medical helicopter from being able to be activated or to take off.

I'm just going to say something quite off kilter for my moment.

And that was sort of.

As we mentioned earlier, Jack Appleyard doing the notes show with you, Neil.

Jack also managed to grab some time with Wayne Gardner, who won the first Grand Prix at Villa Parley in 1989, let's not forget.

This is the Motorsport Republica Podcast.

Everyone, welcome to the Motorsport Republica Podcast, Episode 2 of the Phillip Island Chronicles, and we have Mr. Jack Appleyard, MotoGP reporter, back on the pod, I think, third, fourth time now.

Hat-trick ball, I think, is it? Yeah, yeah.

I think this could be the hat-trick.

So, yeah, it's going to be tricky.

Neil, has Jack Appleyard tempted you with a little bet yet for the weekend? No.

He hasn't.

I think he insists on shaking on it in person.

Yes.

We had Jack Appleyard, MotoGP Pitlane reporter, on our show on Thursday, The Note Show, previewing the weekend.

Jack had been doing a bit of Limp Bizkit karaoke in the lead-up to the Japanese Grand Prix when he was in Tokyo.

Hence, some really tawdry Limp Bizkit references on our shows through the weekend, some really tortured ones.
