And so from there it was, it was, like, them, and then more emo-leaning stuff like Dashboard Confessional.

And then when I was graduating high school, Jack Antonoff released the first Bleachers album, and that was the first time where I realized, like, oh, it's possible to, like, do all this stuff yourself and, like, also do that for other people.

And, like, that was the... where it clicked in my head, and I was like, "That's what I wanna do," and that kind of put me on a course of really getting into production and deep diving into that.

So yeah, that was kind of my, my start.

So you've probably seen the interview where Diplo says that musicians should adapt to AI or give up and become an Uber driver.

We've also seen songwriter and musician Jack Antonoff saying that AI users are bad actors and that they are ruining the holy process of making music by trying to optimize it with AI.

So here's where I land on this debate.

I don't think it's any secret, if you've been following my work or listening to anything that I do, that I probably fall closer to Jack's interpretation of what's happening than Diplo's.

And for me, that's quite discrediting to the beauty and wonder of the creative process and making music.

So I find it quite shocking that he said that.

But at the same time, I also think that what Jack Antonoff has said, demonizing people who are using AI is also really unhelpful in this debate because we live in such a polarized world in so many ways.

And I think let's not let AI divide us even further.
