J.P. Wiser's Whisky

One way to understand its history is through the producers who helped establish it.

J.P. Wiser's dates back to eighteen fifty-seven, before Confederation, and continues the tradition of Canadian blended whiskey.

That is a considerable history to bring to the table when choosing a bottle for a celebration.

Which Canadian whiskey is best? Personal taste matters, but awards provide a useful starting point.

J.P. Wiser's twenty-four-year-old was named Canadian Whiskey of the Year at the twenty twenty-six Canadian Whiskey Awards.

For someone seeking a distinguished bottle for a milestone or Christmas gift, it deserves a place on the shortlist, subject to availability.

For a different expression of Canadian whiskey, consider Lot No. 40.

The Whiskey Show takes center stage in London this coming Friday through next Sunday at Old Billingsgate.
