J. J. Liston Trophy

Speaking of former Bombers, it was a big night on Monday night for the delisted S&N gang, both this year and in previous years.

Because it was the JJ Liston Trophy Awards night.

It is the Brownlow equivalent that you get in the VFL.

You get your JJ Liston Trophy, the VFL Best and Fairest.

You have your VFL Team of the Year named.

And it was a big night for former Bombers because Elijah Sardis, one of the more recent former Bombers, had a... fantastic finish in the JJ Liston Trophy count.

Keep in mind, he played AFL games this year, so had an interrupted VFL season.

Still managed to finish 7th of the eligible players.

Of course, it was awards season.

in the VFL and what does that mean for some of those players who took home the Liston Trophy and also the Fothergill Round Mitchell Medal winner, which is the world's longest award as far as names go.

But what does that mean for that young man who won it? Premier League wrap with the Minister of Football, Mark Bosnich, the great Bozza.

And ESPN's Olgan Ulic will join us.

Yeah, we should get a really, really... good last game of the season.

And it's been a great season for the VFL, I reckon.

And Paul, I looked at the Liston Trophy and it's fantastic to see Ben Hobbs go back to VFL level, really embrace Port Melbourne and help them on their charge through the finals.

He polled the most votes.

At, last night at the JJ Liston Trophy, so the VFL's best and fairest, a former AFL player, used to play for the Roos, Miller Bergman, was rushed to hospital after choking on the chicken at the dinner.

How were you announced as the winner of the J Field Medal? Because, yeah, it's a pretty amazing accolade to have that medal.
