J. C. Agajanian

I mean, I researched it, but I don't remember the exact number, but it was really low.

Indianapolis 500 legend J.C. Agajanian chose two Studebaker V8s to modify for 52, 53, and 56 Memorial Day Classics.

Overall sturdiness was behind the choice over Cadillac, Chrysler, and Olds.

And in 52, Aghajanian spent $225,000 transforming at least two Studebaker V8s into radical 32-valve dual overhead cam Speedway Screamers.
