And you give a really nice brief biographies of some of these people that are, we really might consider almost crazy now, but very extremist and segregationist, white supremacists, neo-Nazis, sometimes even Catholic priests that are racists.

And one of them, J.B. Stoner, was called the Southern Fuhrer.

It's very interesting to read about that history and the kind of notoriety that some of these people had.

And it's pretty clear that in some cases they were not only maybe delusional from a modern standpoint, but also incredible narcissists who love the attention and the notoriety that they achieved through their hate speech.

Yeah, I think that's a really accurate description of many of these hate speakers.

You mentioned JB Stoner.

There was also George Lincoln Rockwell, who was the founder of the neo-Nazi movement in America, who... really only had a following of a few hundred, but was an incredible showman.

And he knew how to attract the attention of the media with his flamboyant demonstrations and did it really for the publicity, as did his protege, Frank Collin, who was the leader of the proposed Nazi march.
