i don't know what my beef is with deku and my hero and i'm still trying to figure it out it just doesn't hit for me like the way it did but anyway we're not getting into all that but i'm gonna give it to naruto on this one and this isn't just because i was just on the my favorite shows his character is incredibly important to the entire story he starts as somebody who definitely desperately wants attention and he wants people to acknowledge him and over time those desires evolve and he becomes somebody who wants to understand other people and he starts wanting recognition recognition good lord i can't talk eventually he wants to prevent other people from experiencing the loneliness he experienced and that's a significant transformation from what we see him at the beginning of naruto and his relationships with people like iruka sensei jiraiya and sasuke Even his enemies.
