And for her other money-making endeavors, she puts those in a different category.

And then I can decide, do I want to engage with the whiskey? Do I want to engage with the Ivy Park leggings or not? But as it relates to the music, it feels, you know, almost like it's cleaner somehow, like it's purer somehow.

And so...

It's funny how these things land for different people.

If she drops it, I will probably try it.

But will I become a repeat buyer? Usually the answer is no.

I bought one pair of Ivy Park leggings.

I bought one sacred product.

I mean, House of Darion back in 2006, it was huge and it definitely made an impact, like I said, culturally, but it wasn't like the most successful business ever.

And then, of course, more recently, we had Ivy Park, which very culturally relevant and was very, you know, of the moment.

But It was expensive and not everybody could afford it, which is kind of like Beyonce's thing now.

You know, she is very expensive.

Do you

remember when she had the Ivy Park drop? Yes.

And she sent creators the box.

She sent me the full rack.

Um, and that's really where my love started.

And so I, I then taught myself to code 'cause I was inspired by this, but that also then became, say, for example, this, this project, uh, zooming again, so terrible, but this, this project here on the right-hand side for Ivy Park.

So this was a project in 2016.

It was myself and a, an engineer, and it was for, to launch Beyoncé's athleisure brand.

But I find it really interesting.

People like Alexa Chung or even Beyonce with Ivy Park.

And that's sort of the downfall of that.

What happens with these guys? They've got such a cult following, but they just can't sustain a brand.

artists but like They don't ever translate well.

Like, Beyonce didn't do half bad with Ivy Park and Adidas.

But it's also Beyonce.

But it didn't also live up that long.

... to partner with Ivy Park.

I'm the type of person that's not ...

I don't, like, show a lot of my emotion.

She had an emergency." They all disappointed, but in my head I'm thinking like, "Dang, she couldn't even say hi?"

Right.

Yeah.

She is, like, the queen to me of the US.

Beyoncé used to do this with Ivy Park.

It was a collaboration with Adidas.

You know Adidas has the world's best supply chain.

And, or thou- 10,000 more.

You could do it.

Then they'd be like, "Oh, Ivy Park coming to Nordstrom.

Now get on the Nordstrom website, and you could get it." And randomly you'd sometimes find it on, like, Nordstrom, but it was, like, another tactic to, like, bring in another selling partner and another place.
