IVE

The choreographer has appealed the ruling, so this story is not over yet.

Last week's music lineup was packed with variety, as singer Kim Feel, X Love, Antubel, IVE, and I-LIT all dropped new releases.

Kim Feel came back with his second full album, Journey, on October 29th, led by the title track Life is Life, a witty and honest song about accepting life as it comes while never stopping your stride.

XLOV released their third mini-album, I! On October 28th, featuring the title tracks Hush and Tukum Chiwawa, which blend heavy bass, oriental motifs, dreamcore, and hyperpop into a wonderfully quirky sound.

And 2BLE followed on October 27th with Sequence 02, Attraction, headlined by the tropical R&B track French Kissing, while IVE and I-LIT both arrived on October 26th.

I've showed off their signature confidence with the title track Looks Can Kill, and Eyelet delivered a catchy electropop tune called Arresting You, complete with an addictive whistle sound that playfully captures a girl who is fed up with a lukewarm relationship.

Big milestone for BTS member J-Hope, as his music video for Mona Lisa has officially passed 100 million views on YouTube.

I enjoyed every song on the CP, but Crumbs is definitely my standout.

It is so catchy and cute in a way that I think IVE does particularly well.

There's a confidence to their music that makes even the lighter, more playful tracks feel really strong, and I think the CP delivers on that consistently.

Also on Manet, Xiaojun from Lady made his solo debut with Hey Somebody.

Industry reports say the short lands four days before Lee's new feature, Possible Love, debuts on Netflix on November 6th, and it connects to that film's world, so fans have a perfect warm-up.

Nominees for the 2026 Melon Music Awards are officially out, and the competition looks fierce, with BTS, AKMU, IVE and Playv all in the running.

Seven acts landed nominations in all three major categories of Artist, Album and Best Song of the Year, including BTS, AKMU, I.O.I, IVE, I.L.I.T., Kiki and Kourtis.

BTS hit number one on Melon's Top 100 within an hour of releasing their title track Swim from their fifth full album, while I.O.I made a comeback after about nine years and topped both the Top 100 and Hot 100 with Suddenly.

This year also introduces a new Global Top 10 category, which uses data from Korean, Chinese and Japanese music platforms, and final winners will be decided by a mix of chart scores, judging and fan voting that runs through November 13th.

Crush is keeping the buzz going for his new digital single, Featuring IU, which dropped on October 21st.

Since the release, he has rolled out a string of collaboration videos with an all-star lineup, including IU herself in several promotional clips, AKMU's Lee Soo Hyun and IVE's Ray in a live clip, and Hwasa and Ahn Shin Ae in singing challenges.

Lessafim's Minami joined him on the It's Live YouTube series, while Ka, The Garden, Wendy and Psy took part in a lyric-inspired challenge, and Epic High added a playful twist using the lyric Now I See.

All that creative content is paying off, as the song hit number one on YouTube's Daily Popular Music Video chart on October 22nd, then climbed to number two on YouTube's Trending Music chart on the 27th.

And the duo will now head out on a solo tour across six cities, along with a pop-up store in Tokyo's Shibuya running from November 6th to 23rd.

Our featured song today is Crumbs by IVE from their new mini-album Looks Can Kill.

This electronic dance pop track has a catchy melody, layered harmonies and playful ad-libs, and Gael and Liz helped write the lyrics.

Here's a preview.

That was Crumbs by IVE, a bright and bouncy track that shows off the group's vocal charm.

It even comes with a fun Y2K-style spin-off film to match.

Now, back to more news.

Day 1 features 14 acts, including I.O.I, NCT Dream, ITEEZ, aespa, Choi Yena, and RISE, plus Japanese girl group Hana.

Day 2 brings chart heavyweights like NCT 127, IVE, PLAVE, ILIT, and Kiki, along with the band Hearts to Hearts-style newcomers from the MNET show Steelheart Club, known as Heartswave.

This year's theme is K-pop Connect, the new pulse, and the broadcast reach has expanded across Japan and Taiwan, while voting for the top 10 awards is already open and will also count toward Artist of the Year.

Lee Seung Gi is back on stage and fans waited 13 long years for it.

So congratulations to them.

And today's performance included 820 Lite, 17s, JXJ, Jonghan, X, Joshua, IVE, NCT Wish, Namix, Alpha Drive One, Myof, Evne, K-O-1, K-S, Triple S, A-20, Xiong, Kickflip, Flare U, Modise, Lee Han-kyo, Song Han-min, Park Woo-hyun, Lee Un-sang, Lightsum, Daily, Direction, and many more.

Now, in the world of music and K-pop, and the reason why most of us are here, clearly, is we've had a comeback, a couple of comebacks this week.

But there's one in particular that I really want to highlight, which is IVE.

I don't know what the fuck is going on there, girls.

And do you know what? It's not as though it's a decline, but it feels like they've plateaued creatively.

That's amazing.

2022, X-Men Heroes and Ive.

Oh, my God.

We've won a new...
