Ivan Provedel

You can't do anything about that.

Maybe close it down quicker, Provedel not at fault, and suddenly a match that seemed in Inter's control had suddenly become something different.

Now the pressure was on, now Fiorentina had something tangible to defend, now Inter had to chase the game.

And as the clock moved towards the final 10 minutes, the situation became, let's face it, really damn well uncomfortable.

I think it was right to gamble given the situation they were in where they needed to strengthen, but it didn't pay off and we have to acknowledge that.

I think now you have to see what you can do with Provedel.

Can you bring Provedel into the team? There's already been reports that he should've started and whatnot.

Um, can he do something for you? 'Cause we know that he's been a solid goalkeeper for the last couple of years, uh, in the Serie A for Lazio.

Um, he's got European experience as well.

I mean, I feel even with Darmian and Skriniar and them there was better depth in defense.

And when it comes to the goalkeepers, Pep Martinez and Provedel, it feels like, okay, it's a, it's, it's a step upwards compared to where Sommer was 'cause he was coming down, but the depth isn't better there.

Uh, but, but yeah, in, in midfield and attack, there's no dou-doubt about that this is probably the best depth that we've ever seen on Inter have under Marotta, which I think it also puts a little bit of pressure on Kivu now that he has to deliver in Europe.

I think it's unacceptable if he gets eliminated in the round of last 16 or in the round-
