Absolutely.

So I think, first of all, for many years now, the default decision has been to rent because there was no alternative solution.

You couldn't build and pre-train one of these on your own.

Kind of the open weights models that were available just were not nearly good enough.

So it made sense and everybody defaulted to this concept of renting.

But The landscape has matured and evolved significantly.

And then you rent out or go use cloud services or basically pay by the token or pay by the API for the non-differentiated.
