Okay, number five.

The fear of clowns, such as Pennywise from Stephen King's novel It, is known as witch phobia.

I'm probably going to pronounce these incorrectly.

Bozo phobia, joker phobia, coulrophobia, and xanthophobia.

blandness but for me what stood out more than the creature and stuff was just the situations a lot of it was almost like Pennywise-esque but better

frankly.

It really did feel some Pennywise.

So they keep telling their mom, like, dude, there's a, a guy talking shit to us from the sewer and she didn't believe him at first.

Cause it's like Pennywise, the clown.

And she thinks they're like playing a joke.

I recently watched it.

Basically the cops can't or won't do anything.

Cause it's public property.

And Unique Wiggins is pissed because her kids are scared of the crackhead Pennywise the clown.

Yeah.

I think he's potentially, like I say, his performance in Rocky Horror is rightly lauded, but I think he's potentially a little bit underrated in the other roles that he's had because of the kind of roles that he's picked up.

Yeah, just to talk a little bit about his performance as Pennywise in the miniseries of Stephen King's It.

You know, we are in spooky season now, approaching Halloween, obviously, and that is our Halloween screening.

So probably his most, well, almost certainly his most frightening role, I would say.

And this one is the same.

But he is absolutely incredible throughout.

The character in the book of Pennywise is like a cipher.

He's supposed to represent each individual character's greatest fear.

I'm going to go...

Pennywise.

Damn.

I'm going to get that.

man I don't know man I think uh I think I'm fucking your squad up, man.

Let's see.

Jason can go against Michael Myers, but Pennywise is, you know what I'm saying? Damien can get Chucky.

Jigsaw can get Ghostface.

You know, you do that 200 years ago and people are going to be like, She bewitched my husband.

He's just hanging out in his Pennywise costume boner town.

All of a sudden, he can't be held responsible for that.

Yeah,

And that was probably a mistake.

Pennywise, I'm foolish.

But that was not a, you're going to have to tell me more about that part.

And honestly, my kids are too old for that now anyway.

Yeah, I get it, man, because you mentioned when we were planning this episode, like as a kid, what freaked you the fuck out? That miniseries freaked me the fuck out, dude.

The whole shower scene with Pennywise coming up.

Yeah, yeah.

And again, I'm delving into cosmic horror, apparently.

So that evil, that entity, just like in Derry, it was always there.

It runs Ludlow, and then it runs Derry, And people come there, they settle, and it starts affecting them, whether it's the Wendigo or Pennywise.

your thoughts? I think they did discover it based on how I recall the story.
