So if there's a time, you know, it's a very different Palace to the one that Ipswich played two years ago.

If you remember some of those matches, Ismail Assar, well, he scored five goals against Villa alone, but he and Mateta basically ran riot on the counter-attack and in transitions and I know it's a different club, different players, but you look to sort of alternatives there, same or similar approach from Forest.

And instead of Sarr, you've got Gibbs White or Ndoye.

Instead of Mateta, you've got De Lappe, Jesus, Wood.

Similar players profile-wise in terms of sort of physicality and what they can offer.

And I think what happens is five at the back lends itself to more width, doesn't it? So they've got a solid base of three defenders and two wide players that fan the width of the pitch, right? When you're actually looking at Villa's system, we're talking about, if we play McGinn out wide on the right, McGinn inverts, Hemmings inverts, a number 10 and a striker, all narrow inverting, and they swamp us out wide with a lot of width.

And they kind of set this little trap, don't they? It was Mateta dropping and it was Sarr and whoever running off.

And again, the same system that they've got now at Forest, it's sort of De Lappe up top, Gibbs wide and Ndoye.

The lap drops and those two go.

You can only expect that the manager is going to implement the same vision for his team that he had at Palace, obviously with a different set of tools, different players.
