Island Packers

Another amazing place to see them is San Miguel Islands, uh, which is one of the Channel Islands in Southern California.

You can get there, uh, on an Island Packers trip out of the city of Ventura.

Uh, we did a podcast very early on, um, did a podcast, uh, with the woman who runs Island Packers.

But if you head out there, you can see up to 100,000 pinnipeds at the same time.

100,000 marine mammals, four different species.
