Green Album is...

It's got Hash Pipe and Island in the Sun right back to back, which Hash Pipe is one of my all-time favorite Weezer songs.

There is a lot of filler on this album.

I will admit that, but I like the filler on this album.

So that includes me.

It was Dope Nose didn't do as well as Hash Pipe.

Keep Fishing didn't do as well as Island in the Sun.

And then they had no third single off the album.

An hour last song today has been chosen by Captain Crapbeard.

Perfect to get us in the mood for the request tower.

Sam walked down the aisle with his mom to the song Island in the Sun, and Shannon was escorted by her dad to Kiss Me.

The recessional song was As It Was by Harry Styles.

The classic cocktail hour was picture perfect with the sun setting in the background as sailboats passed by.

Yep.

You want to hear Island in the Sun.

And I appreciate that.

It's like going, uh, we have that here in the summertime in the, uh, county fair.

We'll sing lullabies.

um but no i because now that i'm like reflecting on the concert i literally do think the peak of the concert was weezer's first song shine on because we had been there for over two hours at that point so you had like over two hours of build up and then you had like the ultimate like euphoria of weezer finally seeing weezer and then they just launch into this just like rock anthem and Yeah, I'm gonna say that was the peak of the whole thing probably but no Weezer was really awesome though like Everything off the blue album was awesome their first album They closed with Island in the Sun one of my favorite songs They had all the floaty beach toys being passed around the floor audience during Island in the Sun and during hash pipe was awesome they had all this like fire coming out of the stage like blasting these giant plumes of fire out of the stage during hash pipe and uh they went acoustic for a couple songs the lady from silver sun pickups came on for a few songs um they had this one part where they had like this ringer in the audience who was like we chose this random person to do a uh air guitar during buddy holly i believe and they just like they were so like you could tell it was like a setup because they were like way too good at air guitar you're like this person's done this before and they're also painted blue You're like, this is a setup.

They don't just randomly find a person who's painted blue.

We're not in Vegas or West Virginia where there's people who have been born to be blue.

I'd come out with Weezer, Island in the Sun.

I think that's just a great chill song to get into.

From there you gotta jump into some Smash Mouth with All Star, which, it's a great song.

Cool.

Um, but I also feel like it's just kind of, again, I go back to whelmed on some of the choices.

Weezer, like there's, there's an entire album that's better than Island in the Sun.
