Island Highway

major centers the south island and the crd here is large we have a lot of traffic 70 000 vehicles go through view royal every day i wonder about a process that we could look at again your

past experience i actually have a number even higher than uh 70 000 in terms of the number of vehicles that go through view royal every day you have to remember the main trans canada highway goes through view royal and the Old Island Highway goes through View Royal.

Nearly all of the traffic that comes from anywhere north on the island or the west shore to either Saanich or to Victoria has

to come through View Royal.

I actually had over 90,000 in the numbers that I have here today.

for the number of vehicles that are expected to come through View Royal on the average day.

Not only the Trans-Canada Highway, but also the Old Island Highway.

Indeed, View Royal is the link that joins the entirety of the North Island and West Shore to the core municipalities, for the most part.
