Things like the beliefs, the basic fiqh, history, Quran, tajweed, hadiths, All of this, you want them to learn it.

Akhlaq and adab is something that you should start with, right? My approach to homeschooling is when they reach the age of education, begin with akhlaq and adab, with character and manners.

And then after a year or two, start introducing the other Islamic subjects.

This is based on the statement that you should learn adab before ilm.

And when weakness comes in Yaqeen, it will affect everything, everything.

Your Akhlaq will become like the people outside.

Your Salat will become a ritual.

Your Sadaqah will become to impress people.

You serve because of the Hayah you see.

You serve because of the Akhlaq and the Adab you see.

Like one of the things we would see of Shaykh Nuh was perseverance.

It was, you could literally, like his time to go to the mosque was like three minutes and 20 seconds before the Iqamah.

Okay, so the word adab comes from the word adabun, which means good manners and social etiquette.

Then we look at the broader meaning and we look at akhlaq.

Akhlaq is your character or your natural disposition and something which you are born with.

And adab is how you behave as a person, refers to your adab, your social conduct, how you deal with people in everyday life.

So now subhanAllah when you look at what children are being told today they are constantly exposed to messages about putting themselves first and pursuing what makes them happy.

And it's always difficult talking about Iran in this way because you're quickly cast as a regime apologist or somebody who doesn't see, doesn't want to admit that Iran has any faults.

And of course, like that's basic and elementary that of course Iran has many faults, but, and like, like many governments have faults and, and there's a lot of reform to be done, but that impetus of Islam, Islamic ethics should be a basis of our government.

This is our religious tradition and, And we should draw on it to create a government that acts in a good way in the world.

That impetus is there, even if they don't always act on it, even if there's hypocrisy, even if there's mistaken interpretations.

Yeah, so I think you see bits and pieces of that today.

Like I said, with the war, the way the Iraq war was conducted, the way the current war is being conducted.

There is an attempt to make Islamic ethics shape political policy.

Yeah, it's fascinating.

Now, with all of these names, one of the things we learn is that you have to become the name of Allah.

You have to become the name of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, right? So how do we embody this name ourself? How does this name become part of our Akhlaq? Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says, "Ya ayyuha alladhina amanu kunu qawamina bil qist sh- kunu, kunu qawamina lillahi shuhada bil qist." Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, he says, "Oh, people who believe, be people who stand up for justice for Allah, who are witnesses to the truth." Be a witness for truth.

What does that mean, stand up for truth? Be someone that speaks up against injustice.

Speak up against what's wrong.

Now, with all of these names, one of the things we learn is that you have to become the name of Allah.
