Isla Blair

You know, Julian, I have a, an extraordinary memory that, uh, you and I performed in a sort of charity event for a junior school at, uh, in The Boltons in South Kensington many years ago in the '60s.

Which I know now, having spoken to your wife, Isla Blair, that this was totally erroneous, but I thought it was directed by Sandy MacKendrick, the film director, and you played a most important part in it.

[laughs] That's the other Julian Glover.

Oh, that, of course.

And I decided that I didn't have as much of a problem.

Because, of course, I was doing a play with these wonderful actresses like Shelley Lundy and Isla Blair and Cheryl Campbell, Casey Ainsworth.

We were on tour in this really prestigious show.

And I didn't really have that much of a problem.

Anyway, culminated in, we did Richmond Theatre.

We all decided to get some celebrity friends around, create a bit of a buzz, because it was the nearest we were going to be to London, and get a bit of publicity for the rest of the tour.

So I remember Isla Blair invited Derek Jacoby, and I had Nanny Katz on the anyway, and it was this amazing cross-section of people.

Anyway, I'd said to Lincoln, If I, I've got two shows tomorrow and I know the press are coming.

this episode.

Dr. Moore is played by Isla Blair.

Isla's been in a ton of things.

Yeah.

I absolutely assumed that she was dead.

Yeah.

The other thing about Isla Blair is that she was in space 1999.

Oh, space 1999.
