Isfahan

I'm Negar Moshtaqi, and this is Eye for Iran.

[gentle music] We've got NUFTI's research director, Khosro Esfahani, joining us on what is a very heavy topic and something that we are waking up to pretty much every morning, and that's another execution.

Um, uh, not just an execution, uh, you know, a hanging, literally people being suffocated to death.

Khosro, uh, you know, you're tracking this.

Thank you so much, Khosro.

And thank you for everything that, that you do, and I'm happy that we were able to end on a, on a positive note about light overcoming darkness.

That's Khosro Esfahani joining us today on I For Iran.

[outro music]

They'll just hold onto them in this country they've never been to where they don't speak the language.

It's bad enough that you're gonna be deported to your home country, but you find out just before you're about to be deported that now it turns out you're not going b-back to Guatemala, you're going to Esfahan, right, uh, the other side of the world.

Hmm.

This is something where there hasn't been a lot of due process because you already have a final order.
