Isaiah West

That's beautiful.

I think Isaiah West is a guy who we can still count on.

I think it was fluky that he went down easily on a couple runs.

His calling card is his ability to stay up.

Jacoby Jackson got two.

Isaiah West got one there in the second half.

Brandon Innes, we'll talk about Chris Henry's electric touchdown a little bit later.

Nate Roberts had one with the starters.

You know, he's been impressive.

And then I thought Isaiah West, you know, although he didn't get limited carries, but it looked like he had a little bit more, you know, juice, you know, in his step, you know, running the football in that game.

He had just a long debate, but, you know, I think he's a guy that, you know, down the road will get some plays.

And then, you know, if we can keep Legend Bay healthy and engaged, you know, I think he's a guy that, you know, certainly can add into that group.

Jacoby Jackson, 8 for 47 with a couple of touchdowns, and I thought based on what he had blocked up for him, he was the most impressive of the day.

Isaiah West, not a great day.

in the first time that he really got an opportunity to get a couple carries in a while.

I think he's only had seven carries on the entire year coming into today, and that's obviously been a little bit puzzling, but, you know, didn't really get it done today.

You know, Legend Bay got injured, so that was not an option after his second play from scrimmage.

We'd like to see more from Isaiah West.

But your two top guys together averaged, you know, about six and a half yards per carry, which is fine.

It just wasn't as explosive as you would like.

He was the most impressive of the day.

Isaiah West, not a great day in the first time that he really got an opportunity to to get a couple of carries in a while.

And that's obviously been a little bit puzzling.

We also saw Isaiah West.

We saw Stanley Jackson Jr.

We saw a favorite key.

And legend, we saw one play, Stanley Jackson Jr., walk on.

I think two, eight total yards and a couple of carries.

Isaiah West had a rough day, six total carries, a couple of the plays broke down and he was hit for a loss.

But I think he only had like 10 yards on his six carries and didn't look the best that he's looked.

Later in the first half, Ohio State had third and one near midfield.

Isaiah West took the handoff and lost third, a yard the Buckeyes then failed to convert on fourth down and on the first drive of the second half Ohio State again found itself in a goal line situation third and goal from the two Jacoby Jackson gained one yard so again you find yourself fourth and goal from the one yard line Ohio State again eventually scored once again but the Buckeyes needed an extra down needed a fourth down to finish the possession Four third down opportunities with the starting offense, and unfortunately, you had four failures.

You did not convert on any of those third downs.

Now, you can look at it one way and say, you didn't get to third down very much.
