Isaiah John

She is not taking anything from anybody, and she's going to push ahead.

So we have an interview with Gail and Isaiah John, who also was in the first one, who plays Leon Simmons.

So if you will, here, this will give you kind of an overview to get into that series if you haven't done it yet.

It's running now, but it certainly isn't over.

... you good.

And, uh, it's Isaiah John.

Um-

Okay, got you.

Next is a series called The Drop, a snowfall saga.

After six seasons of snowfall, this superb spinoff picks up in the 90s with Wanda Bell, played by Gail Bean, and Leon Simmons, played by Isaiah John, returning to Los Angeles ready to reinvent themselves and step into the rising West Coast rap game.

As ambition collides with street politics, the series expertly explores just how far people are willing to go to achieve their dreams.

It airs on Tuesdays on FX and Hulu.

They both gained their rise to fame in the series Snowfall, then later reprised their roles in The Drop, The Snowfall Saga.

Isaiah John and Gail Bean will be joining us right here on Sidewalks Entertainment.

So sit back, relax, don't go anywhere because you're watching Sidewalks Entertainment.

So both of you gained a huge growing fan base since your work in the original series, Snowfall.

Thank

you.

That was Gail Bean and Isaiah John.

Be sure to watch them in the series, The Drop, A Snowball Saga, on FX and Hulu.

Asante Black is on the show.

Isaiah John.

Isaiah John, of course.

Him and Gail Bean are kind of the, you know, they're the spinoff characters that it's kind of built around.

And everything's there.

What is he supposed to do for money? So I'm enjoying the interplay with them.

Also to me, Leon's actor, Isaiah John, I think that's his name.

He has not been in nearly enough projects.

I mean, I remember watching Snowfall thinking like, he's the breakout actor that we should all be looking at.

And Martin, have you seen any other projects or movies with Isaiah John as a lead or anything?

I truly have not, no.

yeah me neither I'm looking now trying to see if I can find a Wikipedia page for this man or something but I don't

[laughs]

You and Isaiah John, y'all get the spin-off.

What was, what was...

Well, when did you get a call, or when did you know that y'all were gonna have a opportunity to take Snowfall, um, to its next phase?
