And who would have thought that UCLA at Minnesota would be a game with playoff implications on arguably what we thought was going to be the biggest day in college football this Coming into the season, that day took a little bit of a hit maybe with BYU upsetting Notre Dame in Provo.

I clearly had a combination of overrating Notre Dame, underrating BYU, and Give BYU and Glasker and Bachmeier are clearly impact players on the offensive side of the ball.

But I came away a little disappointed with Notre Dame's defense.

I thought a little bit higher of their defense, but that scheme that BYU had, put points on the board, put Irish behind the sticks early, made them play catch up, and they couldn't do it.

Then he still seemed to rush it a little bit.

That's in the rulebook, too, is what Glasker did and what Setoala did.

So, but into the secondary, guys like Javen Williams, Evan Johnson, Trey Alexander, Raider Damuni, Faletau, they had tremendous games.

I know Notre Dame got screwed on the final play of the game with the clock, but BYU put Notre Dame in a position to be behind all day long.

The difference come playoff time is you need to win three of those games in a row, not win a game on your home field as an underdog in this raucous environment.

I still think when push comes to shove, one of those four teams that you see top of the odds boards will wind up winning.
