It's previewed in the Old Testament.

8:47
Nehemiah chapter four, verse 20 says, "Our God will fight for us." Psalm 40, verse five says, "Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you have planned for us." Psalm 47, verse four says, "He chose our inheritance for us." Psalm 126 and verse three says, "The Lord has done great things for us, whereof we are glad." Isaiah 26, verse 12 says, "Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have done, you have accomplished for us." Isaiah 63, verse seven says, "I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord, the deeds for which he is to be praised, according to all the Lord has done for us." Now, Paul is saying if all of that is true, and if the gospel is real, and if God is for us to such an unimaginable extent, who could be against us? Who could destroy us or divert us from God's plan? Well, Paul answers that question with yet another, "He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?" God the Father did not spare his own Son.
Robert J. MorganHOST
10:12
He sent him to live a purely righteous life on this sinful planet, and then to be subjected to a death so painful we cannot grasp it.
Robert J. MorganHOST
10:21
He did it in order to shed his blood for the forgiveness of our sins.
Bryce DunfordHOST
12:49
He's rebuking a rebellious group inside the house of Israel and promising a return of a righteous group.
Mike DayHOST
12:58
You know, since you're here, let's just look at verse 16 of Isaiah 63.
Mike DayHOST
13:02
Verse 16 seems to indicate a visionary community that was ousted by the centralized authority in Jerusalem.
Mike DayHOST
13:09
They were rejected by Israel and Abraham, and to me, those are code words for the authorities in Jerusalem.

Mike DayHOST
62:23
There's a shift right after these first verses in the 63rd chapter where we leave that image of the divine warrior, and then we get into a lament.
Mike DayHOST
62:34
Victor Ludlow sees this pattern as a lament, but he calls it, and I love this label, he says, "This is Isaiah's intercessory prayer for Israel." And so if you want to block this off, it, th- these are the verses that we're gonna talk about.
Mike DayHOST
62:46
Isaiah 63:7 to the end of 64.
Mike DayHOST
62:50
So these two chapters, once you get past the divine warrior imagery in the beginning of the 63rd chapter, we get into this intercessory prayer.
John Hilton IIIHOST
30:34
The robe has different meanings, but taken together, these four scenes of a Messiah wearing red teach us about Christ's mission.
John Hilton IIIHOST
30:43
First in Isaiah 63 we're introduced to a mysterious warrior who's defeated the enemies of the Israelites.
John Hilton IIIHOST
30:49
He's wearing a red robe and so the people ask him, why are your robes red and your garments like theirs who tread the winepress? The warrior responds, I have trodden the winepress alone and from the peoples no one was with me.
John Hilton IIIHOST
31:05
I looked but there was no helper.
John Hilton IIIHOST
33:03
From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with the scepter of iron.
John Hilton IIIHOST
33:10
He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.
John Hilton IIIHOST
33:15
On his robe and on his thigh he has a name inscribed, King of Kings and Lord of Lords." You can see the connections back to Isaiah 63 and treading the winepress.
John Hilton IIIHOST
33:27
But this passage reverses the scene that we just saw.

MichaelGUEST
39:37
So, here it is.
MichaelGUEST
39:41
Isaiah 63, 3, right? So Jesus is coming back to fight the Antichrist.
MichaelGUEST
39:46
No, I'm asking you a question.
MichaelGUEST
39:47
Jesus is coming back to fight the Antichrist.
MichaelGUEST
39:55
How can that not be Jesus? If Jesus is not God, how has he come back? If he's doing it himself, right? Because God's won.
MichaelGUEST
40:02
I have trodden the winepress alone.
MichaelGUEST
40:03
Isaiah 63, 3.
MichaelGUEST
40:04
I what? He said, I've trodden the wine press alone, which means he's going to be the one to, you know.
Joel RichardsonHOST
17:46
And so the promise of the human, the skull crusher that would crush the head of the nechash, of the serpent, and God Almighty who will come from heaven shining like the sun with myriads of holy ones, That they are one and the same.
Joel RichardsonHOST
18:00
You see it in Isaiah 63.
Joel RichardsonHOST
18:03
Isaiah looks to the south.
Joel RichardsonHOST
18:04
He says, who is this marching from the south? Marching with feet, human feet, right? He says, you know, why are your robes red like one who's been stomping the wine press all day? The skull crusher, the one who's crushing.
George SayourHOST
9:27
The plan was always a reclaiming of the earth.
George SayourHOST
9:32
Isaiah 63, a nation shall come to your light and kings to the brightness of your rising.
George SayourHOST
9:40
What a great vision here.
George SayourHOST
9:43
Great prophecies, great biblical theology in the Old Testament showing that the plan was always beyond the Jewish people and the nation of Israel.
Chuck SmithHOST
7:14
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Chuck SmithHOST
7:22
Now, this vesture dipped in blood is probably a reference to Isaiah 63.
Chuck SmithHOST
7:34
It is not his own blood.
Chuck SmithHOST
7:37
but the blood of his enemies that he tramples as he tramples out the rebellious.
Chuck SmithHOST
7:48
Isaiah 63, who is this that comes from Edom with dyed garments from Bozrah? This that is glorious in his apparel, traveling in the greatness of his strength.
Chuck SmithHOST
8:01
And that is the question the prophet answers Jesus, Jesus answers, I that speak in righteousness mighty to save.
Chuck SmithHOST
8:11
The prophet asked, why are you red in your apparel and your garments like those that have been treading in the wine fat? It used to be, of course, that they would put the grapes in the vat and then they would all, you know, they'd crush them with their feet.
Natan LawrenceHOST
19:05
But the Bible reveals that Yovi Elohim is our Father in Heaven.
Natan LawrenceHOST

Isaiah 63, 16, 64, 8, Malachi 1, 6, and other places too.
Natan LawrenceHOST
19:15
Remember, our Father which are in heaven.
Natan LawrenceHOST
19:17
That's the Lord's Prayer.
Joseph ZHOST
4:32
So I looked into it.
Joseph ZHOST
4:33
And when I looked into it, there's a narrative out of Isaiah 63, and I really expand on this in the book, And when Jesus comes back, there's the potential that he does something before he hits the battlefield of Armageddon.
Joseph ZHOST
4:50
And the reason you're drawn to this is because when he arrives at Armageddon, when Jesus shows up at the battle of Armageddon, he arrives and his robes are dipped in blood.
Joseph ZHOST
4:59
They're covered in blood.
Joseph ZHOST
5:58
And that's what caused me to write this book.
Joseph ZHOST
6:01
He's coming back.
Joseph ZHOST
6:02
And when you look at Isaiah 63, Isaiah 63 has this really interesting narrative where it goes into it.
Joseph ZHOST
6:11
And I'll just maybe read from the book even and just try to get right into this.
