Isaiah 26, verse 3.

Someone once said to me, how do you know these verses? And I said, because I've wrestled with them in real life.

I need peace.

Connection with your own heart, but also with God's.

Isaiah 26.3 says, From this place of connection, no matter what is happening in your external world, you can stay firmly connected to the God of peace.

The compassion method is a process that can help you live the reality of what the Bible promises.

Now, the truth is most of us are very codependent with what is going on in our outside world.

So in the book, I actually share some other examples of me going through the process and doing it.

And, you know, I think it's all really, really powerful.

And one of the things I think is really profound about this remote control exercise is that it is a Amazing way, you know, we talked about how, you know, Isaiah 26 says, he keeps him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on him.

God is the grace giver.

Thou will keep him or her in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee because he or she trusted in thee.

Isaiah 26 If you feel that you do not need any direction from the Lord, the scriptures will not be of much value to you.

It will be a lot easier for you to pick and choose what you want to hear or do not want to hear.

One must take time and learn to be still and know.

So let's consider some observations about this piece that we can draw from these three passages of Scripture right here today.

Isaiah 26, John 14, and Philippians 4.

And I think we can summarize the Bible's teaching in these passages in five brief statements.

Five truths about God's peace.

The first then statement about peace that we draw from these verses is that our peace is complete.

This peace we're talking about is complete in that it covers every situation.

And so we can begin with the words in Isaiah here.

The steadfast in mind you will keep in perfect peace.

Colossians 3, set your mind on things above.

Isaiah 26, he keeps in perfect peace whose mind has stayed on him.

You shall know the truth, John 8, 32.

And the truth shall set you free.

When anxiety starts to rise, let them sense the steady heartbeat of heaven, reminding them that they belong to you.

Father, your word says in Isaiah 26, verse 3, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee.

Let that verse come alive inside them in Jesus' name.

If their mind starts to wander, bring it back to you.
