Isaac Boleslavsky

some famous grandmaster from the past.

Maybe not grand, like world champions, obviously he knows, yeah? But players like Bondarevski, Boleslavski, etc.

You know, those guys who never became world champion or even candidate, but... still have their place in chess history so one would expect that he knows or any chess player to know about them but this is just our concept because nowadays many actually elite players also if you ask them they don't know much about the old time old players old grades from the past and uh actually i might say okay so first of all it's a kind of pity that they don't know about them but second to develop you don't actually need to know about them as well so right um Because, first of all, the old books and stuff, they kind of are not correct on many things.

On some things, of course, on many things they are right, but there are a lot of points where they were wrong.
