Uh, any thoughts on Iron Mountain?

It's been an incredible stock.

It's a real estate investment trust, basically, uh, and we know that they shred.

So the question is, how is this going to impact those names? And then the companies that are already dominant players in the field.

Names like Digital Realty, Equinix, Iron Mountain.

They acquire the land, they build massive shells, secure the power, and they lease the white space to tech companies.

That's their business model.

My guest today is Ted Wolf, the co-founder and CEO of GuideWise and the author of the Intelligent Business Equation.

Ted built a company from two people and a thousand dollars into a 650 person IT staffing organization that was eventually acquired by Iron Mountain.

Today, his work focuses heavily on AI implementation, operational maturity, workforce adoption, leadership alignment, and what he calls the human agentic data future of business.

So this conversation is going to go into so many AI initiatives that quietly fail, leadership drift, founder dependency, operational transferably, and what businesses need to understand if they actually want AI to create value instead of chaos.

These consisted of rudely made knives, the cutting edges of which were fashioned out of very hard iron, harpoons and spears tipped with iron points.

Questioning the natives as to how they had become possessed of the iron, they explained that it had been obtained from what they termed the Iron Mountain on the coast near the bay.

In no instance were they successful, and the question of where the Cape York Eskimo had obtained their supply of iron became one of the riddles of the North.

When Peary went to the neighborhood of Cape York to establish the station from whence he started on his brilliant march across the ice cap, he came closely in contact with the tribe of Eskimo living there.

On the next visit, Peary took some guns and ammunition for the leading men of the tribe, and there was then nothing they were not prepared to do for their benefactor.

What was interesting, too, is that in pursuit of something else, I came upon a video segment done by KOMO out of Washington State that was talking about Iron Mountain, which is a company that stores documents and such.

And your coverage of this, you know, you've talked about other people are now talking about it.

I thank you for covering this because when you were doing your stuff with cable boxes, I was remembering that Iron Mountain had like a data breach in the mid to late 90s.

Well, that corporation still exists collecting data in their big old office buildings out in Orange County.

God knows how much data these people have farmed off of us, and they will use that because they don't like that you wore a blue tie on one day or that you went fishing with your kids instead of showing up to work or whatever.
