Like, I think we were just having lunch with

Iron and Wine and one of the desk.

I

looked him up.

I wanted to look up Iron and Wine.

And it's just such a surreal feeling, you know, that we're all here playing music or enjoying our music.

Different types.

And what a great, what a cool band.

So I actually had the – I mean, it is ultimately my project.

But it's kind of like Iron and Wine.

You guys are familiar with them.

It's Sam Bean, the lead singer.

But he just tours as Iron and Wine.

However, I do have a drummer and a bass player that plays with me.

I had the idea of Beacon of Understanding when I was in college.

Yeah.

I saw her as the opening act when Brad and I went and saw Iron and Wine at the Buskirk.

She was the opening group.

In the original Twilight book, Victoria doesn't really appear in any of the scenes after the big baseball game showdown before appearing in New Moon.

We would, of course, see her again one more time a little bit later as she watches Bella and Edward dance together at the gazebo to the song Flightless Bird, American Mouth by Iron & Wine, a song actually suggested to Catherine Hardwicke by Kristen Stewart herself.

It's not really a request, but, you know, it's probably about moving out.

It has been in everything.

It's been covered by artists from Famously Iron and Wine to probably metal bands to, as I mentioned, Ben Folds.

This song is everywhere.

It has to be one of the most popular songs to come out of this entire scene.

kind of essential, I think.

I mean, the We Will Become Silhouettes by The Shins is a really great version of that song, a really interesting take on it.

Iron and Wine's cover of Such Great Heights is the definitive version of the song to many people.

It really is.

Hmm.

So since I was going back to this place where we first met, I wrote to Sam Beam from Iron & Wine and said, "I am going back to this place and I'm gonna do this songwriting.

I'm working on this album.

Do you by any chance have a songwriting prompt for me?" I've written to prompts before, which is why I kind of had faith in, in this idea.

It was really special, but it also kind of didn't help me when I got to Texas 'cause I'd already written the song.
