And my dad tells me, he's like, well...

I don't think he will.

But are Americans becoming weary? Are we becoming even more and more weary of what's happening in the Middle East? Patricia, I had a conversation last night with a guy who I'm going to try to get him on the show soon.

He is an Iranian American.

He's been in the country for over 30 years, but he has connections and ties to his home country.

And the impression of.

The Iranian people are ready to.

overthrow that government, that there are already movements that would work to do this, that the fear now from the Iranian Americans and from a lot of people is the chaos that would come if the U.S. were to stop now and not finish what needs to be done.

That's one of the biggest fears I have is that would happen, that we would pull the plug on this before that regime is gone.

LSAC locked Iranian citizens out of their accounts on LSAC even if they had never set foot in Iran.

The ABA Journal and Inside Higher Ed both reported that dual nationals got included, including Iranian American dual citizens and Canadians of Iranian heritage.

One person reports they were scheduled to take the LSAT on September 11th and could not.

And LSAC has not disclosed how many people got that email.

And that was actually really, really hard for me.

You know, I mean, I don't think that I ever understood how difficult it was for me growing up as an Iranian American in this country to not to go down the woke path, but it was more so about all the code switching I learned to do between my family and then my friends and society and all the different ways in which I learned to navigate and code switch.

And so much of the, I think, the shame that was carried, I think that was coded by the way in which Iran was talked about in this country and the way America was talked about in Iran.

this like constant, these like shame spirals that were just like constantly working inside me.

When I went to college in the 80s, we didn't have this shit.

I mean, you know, top 10 business school and it was about business.

And the thing about it is initially here you talk about how you were able to excavate the navigation of being an Iranian American and what's going on.

The family of an Iranian American jeweler from New York says he's been released from prison in Iran, but he's not allowed to leave the country.

Kamran Hekmati was let out of prison September fifth after about a year into his two-year sentence.

But his family says they're afraid for his health and well-being.

The entire lineup has drawn criticism over the speaker's ties to the National Iranian American Council, an Iranian American advocacy organization that has repeatedly pushed for diplomacy and accommodation with Tehran, and has opposed efforts to increase pressure on the Islamic regime.

Laudan Bazargan, founder of Alliance Against Islamic Regime of Iran Apologists, or AIRIA, told Daily Wire, quote, "When they repeatedly amplify one narrow set of voices while excluding Iranians who challenge those narratives, they risk becoming vehicles for propaganda rather than places of genuine debate."

But at some point, we have to unpack this baggage and settle down and think very hard and long about what we want versus what we will settle for.

And as Iranian Americans or hyphenated Iranians around the world, be the best brand ambassador for what we want.

And unfortunately, I think with immense respect to friends and colleagues and acquaintances and so-called opponents and adversaries in the Iranian diaspora, whatever people agree and disagree with me, we need to be the best brand ambassadors for what we believe in.

So if we believe in democracy, as I think as Iranians in the West, we need to live those values in our personal and professional life, in cyberspace and in the street.
