How do you see those interactions playing out these days.

You know there was this when I've got into the venture business.

Almost 30 years ago there was this almost mythical idea that existed largely because of the IT industry.

That these small little companies would start in a garage that have this idea.

and they would do a whole set of things to leapfrog in company.

And where I am in Silicon Valley, it would be back a Silicon Valley startup, and recruit a Silicon Valley team, and just be in that garage, and essentially go public, if the aspiration was, without really ever interacting with a set of other strategic and corporates, because those were the ones you were trying to disrupt.

And while that worked in IT, terrible recipe for the energy industry.

Why did you invest? And, you know, what's the journey been like?
