Iowa Secretary of Agriculture

To have some news from the Secretary of Agriculture race, Senator Bernie Sanders endorsed the Democratic challenger last Thursday, saying Chris Jones, quote, has the courage to clean up Iowa's dangerously polluted drinking water and stand up to big agriculture.

He will work with everyday Iowans to put clean water front and center at the Iowa Department of Agriculture, and he'll fight for family farmers so they can earn a decent living while protecting our environment, end quote.

I always ask legislative candidates what they're hearing from people around the state.

And this year I've consistently heard that clean water and cancer are among top voter concerns.

Endorsement alert, Iowa Democratic Party nominee for Secretary of Agriculture, radical Iowa City climate activist.

Chris Jones for Iowa Secretary of Agriculture, who said farming, quote, isn't that hard and that farmers are, quote, working only working a few weeks out of the year has been endorsed by extreme socialist Bernie Sanders.

I don't know when Chris said that.

I don't know what the context is for those quotes.
