Ionia County

Just Muir.

And it's right outside of this town called Ionia in Michigan.

Ionia.

Maybe I've heard of it.

Yeah.

Will you look up the population of Muir, Michigan? And Ionia was probably a slave town, I'm guessing, just by

the name of

it.

So I went to Wheatland Mus- the Wheatland Festival in Michigan last month.

Um, it was one week after Billy Strings played the Ionia Free Fair in the county he grew up in, Muskegon's Ionia County.

Yeah.

Was that the second time you've been there?

[laughs] It did not go well.

[laughs] Somehow he got kicked off another plane.

All right, I wanna, I wanna talk about Billy Strings in Ionia County.

Um, 'cause everybody at that bluegrass festival was still buzzing.

It's been nearly a year since the federal government began changing its rules on hemp and marijuana products, and now new restrictions could soon change what hemp products you're seeing on the shelves.

I'm Paige Meyer here in my Ionia County neighborhood, where one cannabis shop says this could be a good thing for its consumers.

There's a lot of these products floating around the whole country.

When Ian Miller first saw the federal farm bill's definition of hemp, he says he was concerned about what it could mean for consumers.

No one was injured.

A West Michigan motorcycle rider has died after a crash Tuesday in Berlin township, southwest of Ionia.

Investigators say a landscaping company was trimming trees when a branch fell on a power line.

The line snapped and fell across the roadway as the motorcycle rider was traveling eastbound.

During both visits, staff reported that you were seeking information about an alleged, there's nothing alleged about it, an alleged investigation.

Due to the nature of your requests and inappropriate questions made to our staff, we are writing this letter to ensure you understand the proper method to request information from our office.
