Into the Odd

I haven't run a lot of long campaigns.

So in writing Into the Yard and Electric Bastionland, I think you can use those games for long campaigns, and I've heard of people doing this.

But I wanted to make it primary.

My first concern was that they would work for a short campaign and people could get to the fun stuff.

Like in Into the Order, you have just the starter packs and not really like archetypes or anything.

But then in Electric Bastionland, you have failed careers with some randomness within each career.

Yeah, so with Into the Yard, I wanted it to just be, I wanted to make them, you start with just a few bits of equipment that would be evocative enough that you kind of get a sense of your character, but you've also got the freedom to work out, well, why does my character have these three random things? They're not random, sorry, they're in little packages.

And then for Electric Bastion, and I thought, well, can I take that a bit further? and actually say what your previous job was.
