I just did one, I took part in one in, I visit Cincinnati sometimes for family, and I took part, Montgomery, over I-71 on Montgomery Road near Xavier University, every Thursday at 10 a.m.

If we have any listeners listening, in Cincinnati, but I think these protests are effective and you're informing.

And I think they also, beyond the early voting, which is super important, I think the networks of people who do this are a kind of rapid response mobilization network that we may well need.

there is a historical marker on Allen Creek, which talks about Hanford Village.

However, for those of us that drive on Interstate 71 from the east suburbs into downtown, we go by Hanford Village and not even notice what happened to that community.

Again, built in the late 1940s, immediately following World War II.

When you drive from Reynoldsburg and Pickerington on 70 East, heading west towards downtown, You get to this large elevated S curve in the highway right around Livingston Avenue in Maine.

That is where the wealth and privilege of Bexley was able to push the alignment of the highway, push it further south.

And literally Interstate 71 went right through Hanford Village just 11 years after many of those houses were built.

And if you do that S curve now on Interstate 70 heading to downtown, if you look to your left, you can still see some of the little bungalows that are inside that curve.

That was the only neighborhood in Franklin County where black GIs were able to acquire houses.

And also a dramatic rescue after this semi-truck crashed through a barrier on the I-71 overpass there in Cincinnati, leaving the cab dangling over the edge with two people inside.

They were rescued by first responders using harnesses.

They were dangling about 50 feet over that edge.
