Interstate 210 and State Route 210

So this case again involves three witnesses, Mrs. W.R., I'll just call her Wanda, and her two children, Louisa, age 6, and Tommy, age 4.

It was early in the evening of March 12, 1982, as the three witnesses drove eastbound on the 210 freeway in Glendora, California.

They had just passed the Grand Avenue exit when suddenly six-year-old Louisa called the other's attention to a strange glowing red rectangle very low in the sky.

It appeared to be larger than the apparent size of the full moon, if you count its reflection.

We've got 20 million people in Southern California.

We've got in the Inland Empire another four to five million, and in the San Gabriel Valley and elsewhere, another large number of people, all of whom are clustered along the Foothill Freeway, effectively the foothills themselves.

And here's the dilemma for us, twofold.

One of which is the Southwest has been drying out, Southern California mostly, emblematically for the last 40 years.

We are here until 2:00 and then till 3:00 as Dodgers on Deck will go there.

We are in Rancho Cucamonga right off the 210 freeway, Haven Avenue, and we will be back here tomorrow for more promotion and harassment from noon [gong ringing] to 2:00 before game four of the NLDS.
