we have a very generational difference in Italy, like our parents didn't travel that much, but we, especially the millennials, we are the Ryanair generation, the Erasmus, the Interrail generation, so many of us actually used to have a study exchange in other country in europe or to start making that trip abroad in europe maybe even when we were under 18 maybe like in high school we were starting to travel in other countries for the first time and this is because of like locals airline company and but it created really like a cultural change for a world generation and

I know for my husband's family to spend three months, let's say in the summertime when the kids were out of school, in another part of Italy, maybe by the seaside, and go to the same beach and have the same umbrellas waiting for you, because in Italy there's private beaches that you usually have like your cabin, your chairs, your umbrella, that's just, they're there for you, which is different in the US, the beaches are mostly what you'd call public, so they're just open, you bring your own umbrella, your own chairs.
