Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios will enter a drug treatment program, effectively ending his suspension from the sport.

Kyrgios was handed a three-month suspension by the International Tennis Integrity Agency after he tested positive for cocaine at a competition in Mallorca in June.

That was dropped to one month after Kirios agreed to enter treatment.

Because it came into effect on August 4, the suspension officially ended on Thursday.

They're funding the betting industry themselves.

The other thing is that I read today and Rothenberg wrote another article about players being investigated by the ITIA for attending a pre-US Open party sponsored by DraftKings.

And it's like, please give me a break.

Kyrgios had been provisionally suspended since August 4 and was facing a ban ranging from three months up to four years after failing a drugs test at a tournament in Spain in June.

During an interview with international tennis integrity agency investigators, Kyrgios explained his use of cocaine had occurred socially during a night out.

The ITIA said, has accepted his drug use, was outside of the competition and says his suspension ends next week, subject to completion of the treatment program.
