So this is, at the same time, now let's get serious about it.

And the seriousness is that the policies that IPCC of 1.5 degrees Celsius and the policies of IRENA, this is the International Renewable Energy Agency, they also have 1.5 degrees Celsius policies.

I believe, and I'm giving you just my personal point of view, it's absolutely necessary.

So, Ganesh, I'm going to throw you a curveball.

And one of the most important factor was The people that were in the company.

And I think that still holds true because if you have the right people in whether it's an agency like ours at IRENA or it's a company or any other, you know, sphere of work.

It's really the people who will define how the company or the agency will meet its mandate and its objectives.

And if you've got the right people, it's almost like getting 60% of the work done.

Absolutely.

Yeah.

So IRENA's focus is to be the principal platform for international cooperation when it comes to energy transition.

So what are some of the challenges we need to address in the next 12, 18 months, and how can we help foster this cooperation?

So China's investment, uh, manufacturing scale, and also through years of competition, have, uh, also, of course, through the technological improvements as well, have really made the solar panels really, uh, you know, affordable.

So according to a, um, a report from the International Renewable Energy Agency, the average cost of electricity from new, uh, solar projects are falling by almost 90% between 2010 to 2025.

So basically, the clean energy is more, um, you know, affordable.

Is, it- it's a more profitable or attainable investment, especially for developing countries.

Implementation is being supported through initiatives such as the National Energy Fund to mobilize public and private investment in renewable energy and new energy infrastructure.

Under IRENA's transforming energy scenario, Nigeria could reach approximately 62 GW of total installed power generation capacity by 2030, with 77% from renewable sources.

Egypt plans to expand its El Daba nuclear power plant by adding two more reactors, units 5 and 6, with a total output of 2.4 gigawatts.

The addition, called Phase 5, follows four units under construction, each with 1.2 gigawatts of capacity.

It's a vital catalyst for socioeconomic development, industrialization and basic survival.

To guide us through this complex landscape, we are deeply honored to welcome Her Excellency Gauri Singh, the Deputy Director General of the International Renewable Energy Agency, Irina.

Her Excellency Gauri is an internationally recognized leader with over three decades of deep experience in energy transition.

Um, and within that, we have, um, high-level speakers, a former, um, US, um, Energy Secretary, uh, Jennifer Granholm.

Um, we've got the International Renewable, um, Energy Association, IRENA, so Francesco La Camera, who will be, um, part of that conversation.

So high-level discussions that are taking place at a leadership level from our Global Leadership Summit, um, through to the Global Energy Efficiency Alliance.

But those conversations start there, and then they continue and, um, quite often conclude out on the show floor with the 1,500 exhibitors, um, that are presenting the very latest technologies from efficiency, which we've touched upon, generation, storage, um, and transmission and distribution.
