teaching the UK market now it's written by former OEM boss Andy Carroll who was at the helm in the UK when GM rebranded Daewoo as Chevrolet and I remember interviewing him at the Frankfurt Motor Show many many years ago when that was actually happening when that was going through so Andy's got a huge amount of experience within the industry more recently he's been working with Geely on the introduction of Verizon in the UK.

We were broadcasting from Frankfurt, Germany, in the Frankfurt Auto Show when 9-11 happened 25 years ago.

What an odyssey that was.

We were all in it together, and...

Blending that strict environmental responsibility with top-tier sports car level efficiency definitely didn't go unnoticed.

It's exactly why this vehicle just secured the prestigious Van of the Year award at IAA Transportation.

To put that into perspective for a second, the IAA awards are essentially the Oscars of the commercial vehicle world.

Winning this means industry experts looked at how this fan merges high-end racing tech with daily grit and recognized it as a massive leap forward for the entire sector.

We've never made anything that wasn't aviation inspired, that wasn't basically also built to race, and, uh, and that's exactly what we did.

We immediately went, uh, uh, today actually on this sad 911, um, day, we launched a car, uh, a race car, our very first race car, at the Frankfurt Motor Show-

... uh, 11 September, 2001, uh, with which we went racing at, um, at Sebring and then at Le Mans, eight times at Le Mans, competed in all the European championships, and we were, uh, uh, absolutely very, very competitive.

And so I bought it, uh, about two years ago now for $1.45 million.

And the car was the Frankfurt Motor Show car, and then it was owned by Birdman of Cash Money Records, then he gave it to Justin Bieber.

Bieber gave it back, it got repossessed, the bank sold it to Floyd Mayweather.

He had delivered here in Vegas right before the Conor McGregor fight.

With the 25th anniversary of September 11th coming, all these different thoughts are rushing back to my head.

Being in Frankfurt, Germany at the Frankfurt Auto Show and feeling trapped there when all this happened and feeling like I needed to be home to protect my family and help fight for America, having no idea what was next, they emptied the Fisher Building at one point.

We didn't know what was going on.

I had to sneak into a press conference JT Battenberg III, running Delphi, was having and whisper in his ear, that America was under attack.

And look, if these terrorists were any more organized, they would have struck the Frankfurt Auto Show because they had the heads of all of the industries, and they could have done great damage.

But these are the thoughts that come to our mind.
