International Emmy Awards

Perhaps as surprising as the year-later renewal, the piece says season one is actually up for a couple of awards this year.

9to5Mac says Karam is currently nominated for an International Emmy Award in the Drama Series category, as well as two Hollywood Music and Media Awards for its original score and main title.

Winners of those awards will be announced next month.

Season 1 of Karam is available to stream now on Apple TV.

Okay?

Oh, actually, yeah, we did, uh, we got nominated for a International Emmy, which is quite fun.

So that's, that's quite nice.

You did what?

Yeah

...

so Inel's been, uh, nominated for an International Emmy.

Uh, a program I made last year has been, uh, BAFTA-nominated.

I must absolutely always have some heated rivalry news for you.

And that is that the International Emmy Award nominations have come out.

So that's for everything but the American production industry or TV industry.

And heated rivalry fans are furious because the show was snubbed.

So we started the children's program.

and in some ways when you look at though we've done a lot of things since then but it was a high for me then and then sort of in every way because of the way it came around it's also one of the best part of you know the good part of it so we did the children's program and we're nominated for the international emmy awards because there's something called international students they're broadcasting it was unicef that said so they invited us to to to do something you know just produce a special for for that day and i think we did it towards the end of the year so we're preparing for christmas we're going to do a big party you're going you're preparing special edition for christmas something for the children's club member because you had children's club we had members so we you know like i was young very busy but i was having fun and then we had to produce that so how do how we You know, after the production, I'm like, oh, so how are we going to get this to America and all that? I worked with a very brilliant lady then, Daring.

Daring just like, you know, she was talking to people and then she was able to get someone to take the tape to, I mean, she was traveling.

So she took the tape to America and then posted it to the UN.

And then we got the nomination, international Emmy nomination.

for the special UNICEF special.

That was a high for me.

And if that means using our minds, we'll use them together.

This moving film was released last year and the 54th International Emmy Awards takes place on the 23rd of November.

Yeah, it's like you, it's like the work comes to you, but then again, when you're brilliant, the work, uh, must come to you.

Kim, star of big screen, star of small screen, international Emmy-nominated South African actress.

Uh, you are stepping onto the stage.

A Woman Alone, a, a woman monologue written by Italian Nobel laureate, D- Dario Fo, and his longtime collaborator and wife, Franca, how do I pronounce it, Rame?

And, you know, I'm teaching.

I just was a juror for the International Emmys.

Congrats.

Thank you.
