Internalization

He's been sitting with Kaizen, which we've talked about before, and he's pushing past the version that gets sold as a business method.

His framing is that the West has a cult of productivity, the feeling that we have to maximize our daily output to justify our existence, and that Kaizen is a real answer to it, but only if we actually internalize it rather than nodding along with it.

Internalize is doing the work in that sentence.

He goes further.

He says sustainable effort is the only kind that builds anything lasting, and that effort you can't sustain indefinitely can only build something short-lived.

Step 8.

Internalize and apply.

By internalizing the lessons and insights gained from the ayat, it opens doors to embodied teachings and messages.

This empowers thought and belief and attitude and actions.
