Intermediate bulk container

We've got salmon gum trees on our property, and unfortunately, it's killing our... it's killed all my fruit trees.

Well, s- um, stone fruit, and we've decided we're going to replant, but this time we've got hold of some half size IBCs.

And I want to know how I've got to layer the material and, you know, um-

We do that for like a week or so.

Yeah? I noticed you specifically didn't mention IBC leaf harvest joys associated with that.

IBCs are cage tanks, right? Like the 250-gallon.

We're using those a lot, right? And you guys know the rock technique to get stuff out of it? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

You park one on your property, fill it up when needed, and use it to top off your RV tank regularly.

IBC totes are another great option.

Those are the intermediate bulk containers you've probably seen.

They hold around 275 to 330 gallons.

it's okay so you know like the ibc ibc totes is what they're called yeah like the big liquid totes that are on a pallet basically it's like the amount of syrup we have to make is one of those bills

About what I'm getting it for now, 99%.

Of course, an IBC tote is how many gallons? Yeah, 270 gallons.

I don't think I'm going to be doing that.

So Dale, here's the story from Dale, his words.

Normally they get so far in and then they kind of get stuck and you can work out where they are, but it does mean you then have to cut the hose in order to be able to use it again.

So I've got my hoses attached to these special fitments that go on the IBCs.

And when those fitments are not in use, I take them off the IBC, put a dog poo bag around them, tie a knot in it, and then I wedge it into the metal frame of the IBC so that there is no fittings on the floor because you don't want to trip over them, kick them, have somebody squash them, or in my case, it'd probably be somebody strim over them or have somebody put an object down on top of it or it just gets broken or cracked.

So that's how I deal with mine.

So on my right there, there's a bit.

We have IBCs behind there that were catching rainwater off the roof.

And they were just sitting in the gardens.

And I wanted to bury them, but we couldn't because there's rock here.

We have needed more.

And I'm thinking over the winter months, I'm gonna get an IBC container or two, and we're gonna really maximize the amount of rainwater that we have.

Now, it's not all been about the rain.

We have, of course, been doing many other things.

He's asking 750 for that.

And the totes, IBC totes full of wood.

Some, uh, have campfire wood, two rows, asking 25 apiece for those.

Also, uh, some have regular block wood, 55 apiece for those.
