Instant film

Yes, cameras like this one have had a resurgence, but for one Denton photographer, his appreciation for the Polaroid has never gone away.

Daniel Rodrigue is one of the founders of the Instant Film Society, which is holding the 11th edition of its Policon conference in North Texas this weekend.

He came by the studio to tell us what makes this medium special.

Daniel, thank you so much for joining us.

Thank you so much for inviting me.

Explain to us first and foremost, when we talk about instant film, what are we talking about?

Well, most people, when you say the word instant film, they immediately picture Polaroid.

And that is the entryway point.
