Inside Philanthropy

Um, I mean, the, the functional path was essentially working in education.

I, I ended up as the, an executive director of nonprofits and, um, I was fundraising, I was, you know, selling, I was doing a lot of writing, and that kinda led to writing about education philanthropy for an outfit called Inside Philanthropy.

Um, I just really enjoyed writing and interviewing and kind of, you know, service journalism.

Um, and then that led into, um, kind of that, the departure and saying, "Hey, I really like writing on the Internet and producing content, making the Internet a more interesting, informative place, getting paid for it, having a more flexible location, traveling." Um, and so I did that, and I just kinda flick, flicked the switch, as it were.
