Sometimes they get invited to play in, like, fantasy f- uh, fantasy football or-

... uh, fantasy IndyCar, which by the way, I won the championship this year.

The first time I've ever won the fantasy IndyCar title.

I was like 250th in the world of IndyCar fantasy players.

Those fine people are Johnson Phillips over at Ed Martin Honda in Indianapolis.

We got Tommy Oakes over there at Walnut Ridge RV, uh, Morrill Monument Cleaning in Rush County, and then also in Rush County, Pops Recycle.

Well, another week has passed us by, in which time we've wrapped up the 2026 IndyCar season.

So that is done and over with.

Seems like it just started.

So, of course, we will discuss everything from Laguna Seca.

And already maybe some silly season rumors and whatnot as we look forward to 2027 in IndyCar, the final year with this current chassis.

Of course, we will discuss the Italian Grand Prix at Monza.

which, if you're an Italian, probably went pretty well for you, considering one Kimi Antonelli takes home the victory at his home race.

thing is we don't have the F1 support because they're supported by EA, right? So it's like you're never going to get that full tier that way.

We have the IndyCar support, but we don't have the international F1 side or the FIA side that way.

Yeah, I mean, I think the open wheel ladder structure that we somewhat have in our racing is definitely geared more towards IndyCar as opposed to the F1 course.

I mean, if you think about it for many years, it's really probably up until about the last, what, maybe 18 months, two years with some of the release, the NXT and all that.

The ladder, open wheel ladder system was pretty tough.

What if he was seeing if it would send him back to Rookie?

I like that idea.

You can't run the IndyCar anymore.

I mean, we've got a lot of F1 fans, fans that have been around for a long time, but The Netflix series, I think, did something for it, something big for it.

IndyCar still could have its big moment.

I think it's been doing better.

I think having it on Fox, their broadcast on Fox, look at the attendance of the Indy 500, look what's going on with some of the races, that it's growing.

And then it has Kimi like going wrong and then George just fucking wanders off crying.

Um, he actually drove long time ago, um, race non-wing stuff and midgets and, Um, but he was spent a lot of time around the IndyCar garage, um, spent some time in NASCAR and, uh, worked with Cal Wells back on the, what was it? PPI.

Who's an IndyCar driver or a V8 Supercars driver that is maybe at the top of their... game in that market but would come over to nascar and make the same or if not more money for a nascar opportunity right the equivalent of taking svg and putting them in a cup car and now all of a sudden you put yourself in contention for six races a year so i don't And it all felt like it just happened so fast, which you know it had to have happened fast because the Barry news really just came out in the last few weeks.
