Do a whole lot this spring when we went to Indiana State Fair and the Feather Show.

And, yeah, looking forward to this year for the finals.

We qualified last year but decided to turn it down to keep the horses fresher for the World Show.

Really, really set the tone and the bar rather high for our family and, and it's been very, very fun to mate that cow many different ways, and there's many more coming.

Leading into that, this steer is, he's a full sib to the reserve, or the fifth overall, excuse me, fifth overall steer at the Indiana State Fair this year.

We thought that was quite a pr- impressive animal a year ago at this time.

This one, I think, just sets the bar just a little higher.

Oh, okay.

Other states from other breweries can actually enter in the Indiana State Fair.

Yeah, that's true.

Or vice versa.

Any breweries can go to any other state fairs, basically, and...

Which is just cheating, in my opinion.

You shouldn't be able to be a brewery out of state and compete in the Indiana State Fair.

Yeah.

Let me throw this at you.

Um, the Indiana State Fair just announced their Taste of the Fair winner.

It was a smork, which is, uh, they took s- uh, pulled pork-

I agree with this.

I was looking up the Indiana State Fair.

You know what they're doing? They're sticking a burger between their funnel

cakes.

The Ribault family in Indiana raised her.

Uh, this Udell Phyllis, uh, 0223 cow, uh, was Reserve Supreme Indiana State Fair in the junior show a few years back.

And, and with that being said, we've seen a good bit of those calves on the ground and, and I th- just consistently, uh, across the board been very high quality with all different sire groups.

So we were fortunate to get our hands on her this year.

We've had quite a few of these How Great Evas, and they've done very well for us, sold high and put, uh, several winners out there.

Uh, so he'd be a f- full sib to the Brenda family's third overall steer at, in, in two thousand twenty-four at the Indiana State Fair, and I really think this is one of the best ones we've ever had.

He is so just attractive and cool in his head and his skull shape.

He's so great in his neckline.

Yes, sir.

Well, you round out the sale with lot 20, and I don't think you could do it a better way.

One being a maternal sib to the steer that won the Indiana State Fair, and if you don't know how hyped up Jared Arthur was about that calf winning that show, you need to go listen to the post-game story 'cause he loved that calf.

And I think that this calf replicates that one in a lot of ways, shapes, and forms.
