Indiana AIDS Memorial

A memorial now stands here, and more than a thousand donors have been recognized, people who chose to keep helping others after their own lives had ended.

The Indiana AIDS Memorial was dedicated in 2000, the first prominent AIDS memorial located in the cemetery.

It sits in a wooded section among older graves, a place to remember people who died during an epidemic that brought only devastating loss, but fear and stigma.

The Heroes of Public Safety monument honors police officers, firefighters, and other first responders who died on the line of duty.
