And in September seven September 7 is Independence Day in Brazil.

September 7, 2021, he made a very strong speech against Moraes saying, "I'm not, I'm no longer going to accept his orders." So this is the first point of Bolsonaro's attack against democracy.

A second one, which is also very important, is Bolsonaro from the very beginning at, uh, made criticisms of the electronic ballot.

Michael Fox has the story from Florianopolis, Brazil.

Hundreds of people rally along the waterfront on Brazilian Independence Day.

They wear yellow and green, the colors of both Brazil and far-right presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro.

If that name sounds familiar, it's because he's the son of the former far-right president Jair Bolsonaro.

The right wing celebrates this day as very important.
