A total of 184 Haitian nationals were repatriated to Cape Haitian in Haiti following a coordinated immigration enforcement operation in New Providence and Inagua.

The Bahamas Immigration Department carried out the operation using a Bahamas air charter flight that moved detainees in two separate phases.

The first flight phase, the aircraft departed New Providence carrying 29 detainees.

It stopped in Inagua to pick up an additional 71 individuals, flying a total of 100 detainees directly to Cape Haitian.

The second flight phase, after the initial drop-off, the plane returned to Inagua to board the remaining 84 Haitian nationals and transported them to Cape Haitian, completing the repatriation exercise.

Minister of Immigration, Darren Pigstock, stated that the exercise reflects the government's ongoing mandate to enforce national immigration laws in an organized and accountable manner.

And Guyana's tourism industry is continuing its upward trajectory, welcoming more than 271,000 visitors during the first seven months of 2026 as the country pushes toward a year-end target of more than half a million arrivals.

Switching gears now, 184 Haitian nationals were repatriated to Cape Haitian, Haiti during a two-part operation on Wednesday.

The migrants were sent back on a Bahamas Air flight that originated in New Providence with 29 passengers and made a stop in Inagua to pick up an additional 71 detainees before heading to Haiti.

and the operation did not end there.

The Bahamas Air flight returned to Inagua, where it picked up another group of Haitian nationals.

The 84 migrants were also transported to Cape Haitian to wrap up the repatriation exercise.
