The kind of repressive technology that has been used against you, Derek, and against other fellow Americans during the Black Lives Matter, these were technologies that were tested first in Iraq, that were tested on us as Arabs and Muslims in the Middle East.

And then with the imperial boomerang, it boomerangs back home.

So the same drones that were used in, in hunting us down, now they are hunting protesters.

The same war on terror tactics that were used in the Middle East, now they boomerang back home, and they are used against civil liberties organizers, whether when it comes to technology, whether when it comes to the language and the legal scores and what have you.
